Terms of Use
By using Collecte MTL you agree to these terms. It’s a free, independent service offered as-is, built on the City of Montréal’s open data.
- What this service is
- Collecte MTL is an independent project that presents the City of Montréal’s open data in a friendlier form. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Ville de Montréal.
- No guarantee of accuracy
- Collection schedules are extracted best-effort from the City’s notices, refreshed roughly monthly, and are not a live feed. Holiday shifts and one-off changes may not be reflected. The legal source of truth is by-law 16-049 and the City’s official channels. Verify important dates before relying on them.
- Provided “as-is”
- The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It may change, be interrupted, or become unavailable at any time without notice.
- Limitation of liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its data — including, for example, a missed collection. Use it as a helpful guide, not a guarantee.
- Acceptable use
- Please don’t attempt to disrupt the service, place excessive automated load on it, or use it in a way that interferes with others’ use. The site and its API are intended for reasonable, good-faith use.
- Open data and attribution
- The underlying data comes from the City of Montréal’s open data, published under the CC-BY 4.0 licence.
